Silent Image Sync for Vaonis Vespera – Automatic Wi-Fi Image Transfer to Windows PC

Silent Image Sync automatically copies new images from your Vaonis Vespera to your Windows laptop or PC over Wi-Fi, in the background. You no longer have to transfer images by hand after every night.

Works with: Vespera (original), Vespera II (Vespera 2), Vespera Pro, Vespera Pro 2 and Vespera Passenger. Windows only (macOS planned).

Why Vespera owners use it

Getting images off a Vespera usually means connecting to the scope's Wi-Fi, opening tools, browsing folders and copying files by hand. Image Sync does this for you. When you sit down to review or stack, your latest images are already in the folder you chose.

How it works

The included micro USB-A Wi-Fi dongle gives your PC its own dedicated connection to the Vespera, so your laptop's normal Wi-Fi stays on your home network. Image Sync checks for the Vespera at regular intervals. When it finds it, it connects and downloads only the images that are new since the last sync. If Wi-Fi drops, the scope goes out of range or the laptop sleeps, it pauses and picks up again automatically the next time the Vespera can be reached.

Setup in 4 steps

1. Plug in the included micro USB-A Wi-Fi dongle.
2. Install the Silent Image Sync utility on your Windows PC.
3. Choose the folder where your Vespera images should go.
4. Set your timing preferences. After that, it runs quietly in the background.

FAQ

Do I need to keep the app open?
No. After setup it runs in the background.

Will it download the same images again?
No. It only downloads images that are new since the last sync.

What if Wi-Fi drops during a transfer?
It pauses, then resumes automatically when the Vespera is reachable again.

Does it upload my images to the cloud?
No. It only copies images locally, from your Vespera to your PC.

Does it work with Vespera II and Vespera Pro?
Yes. It works with every Vespera model, including Passenger.

Is macOS supported?
Not yet. This is the Windows edition. macOS support is planned.
