Fits all models: Vespera (original), Vespera II (Vespera 2), Vespera Pro, Vespera Pro 2 and Vespera Passenger. The optical arm dimensions are the same on every model.
Why Vespera owners use a dew shield
On clear, humid nights, dew can fog the Vespera lens (or the filter) within an hour and quietly ruin a long imaging session. A dew shield slows the lens from cooling down and shields it from damp air. It also acts as a light shield, cutting glare from nearby lights that causes gradients and washed-out images. I use this shield on my own Vespera every session and haven't had dew on the lens or the filter since.

Tips for cold, humid nights
In very cold or damp conditions, pair the dew shield with a dew heater strap that gently warms the lens. The shield keeps damp air away; the heater keeps the lens above the dew point.
