Description
Image the Sun, sunspots and solar eclipses with your Vaonis Vespera. This Vespera solar filter uses ISO 12312-2 certified solar film and has the built-in electronics Vespera needs to recognize it, so the Singularity app unlocks Solar mode automatically.
Fits all models: Vespera (original), Vespera II (Vespera 2), Vespera Pro, Vespera Pro 2 and Vespera Passenger.

How to use
- Fit the solar filter in place of the Vespera lens ring before pointing the telescope at the Sun.
- Open Singularity: the solar icon appears and Solar mode is unlocked.
- Follow the in-app Solar mode steps to start observing.

Does Vespera recognize it as a solar filter?
Yes. It contains the hardware Vespera uses to detect a solar filter and enable Solar mode.
Does it work on Vespera II and Vespera Pro?
Yes. It fits all Vespera models, including Passenger.
Can I use it for the next solar eclipse?
Yes. It's designed for imaging the Sun, including eclipses. Always fit the filter before pointing at the Sun, and check the film for scratches or pinholes before each use.
Do I need a separate 2" filter?
No. The solar film is included. For night-time imaging, see the DB filter adapter and CLS filter adapter, or get all three in the filter bundle.
Safety: never look at the Sun directly or through any optical device without proper eye protection. Vespera is a camera-based telescope with no eyepiece; view the Sun only on your phone or tablet.
