Vaonis Vespera Dual Band (DB) Filter Adapter – 2" Filter Holder

Use your own 2-inch dual band (DB) filter on the Vaonis Vespera. This adapter ring has the built-in electronics Vespera needs to recognize the filter, so the Singularity app switches to Dual Band mode automatically, just like the official Vaonis filter.

Fits all models: Vespera (original), Vespera II (Vespera 2), Vespera Pro, Vespera Pro 2 and Vespera Passenger.

Why use a dual band filter on Vespera?

A dual band filter passes only the H-alpha and OIII light emitted by nebulae and blocks most of the light pollution from street lights and the sky glow. From a city or suburban backyard, it's the single biggest upgrade for emission nebulae such as the Orion, Lagoon, Rosette and Veil nebulae.

How to install

1. Screw your 2" filter into the adapter ring.
2. Fit the adapter onto the Vespera lens, the same way as the official filter.
3. Open Singularity: the dual band icon appears and Dual Band mode is activated.

Does Vespera detect it as a DB filter?
Yes. The adapter contains the electronics needed for Vespera to recognize it as a dual band filter.

Which filters can I use?

Will it affect autofocus?
